Thanks to the amazing run the US women’s national team had in the women’s World Cup and the adventures of last year, I realize that very few things get me as excited as purchasing and customizing the US kits to recognize and celebrate the incredible women who play on the national team.
Last year, I got Megan Rapinoe on a true men’s replica kit since I can’t fit my frame into a women’s kit.
This year? Sydney Leroux, a reserve forward who is on the Olympics roster and has the potential to make a lot of noise this year and beyond.
To be fair, the jersey looks sick and though I lamented the new kits a few months ago, the fact that the men and women are wearing the same designs makes women-cheering big guys like myself the ability to wear the same jerseys as the USWNT wears.

Now, I just need to find bars in NYC to watch the three Olympic games late July… any suggestions?
